DATAD is a Python-based X-ray Diffraction simulation code for Arbitrary Texture and Arbitrary Deformation.

Highlights:
  • Simulate 1D and 2D X-ray diffraction patterns of ideal and nonideal polycrystalline specimens.

  • Arbitrary texture and deformation state can be incorporated.

  • X-ray diffraction patterns can be projected onto a planar or cylindrical detector located at an arbitrary position.
